Organizing Entertainment and Educational Events Company Since 2011
Tickets are sent automatically and should arrive in your inbox within a few minutes after a successful payment. If you don’t receive them, please check your spam folder first.
You may have mistyped your email address when making the purchase.
If you paid via regular bank transfer, it might take a few days for us to receive your payment and send the ticket.
If you have access to your bank account, use our ticket recovery page.
You can also contact the event organizer or email us at support@lampyrisevents.com, attaching your payment details.
Why Payments Fail
Failed payments typically occur when credit card information is entered incorrectly or the card is declined. Declines can happen for various reasons other than insufficient funds.
Troubleshooting:
– Ensure that you entered the card number, expiration date, and CVC correctly.
– Verify that your card is still valid and has sufficient funds.
Our credit card payments use the 3D Secure method, which means your bank will ask for an additional password or code after you enter your card details. See the next section about 3D Secure.
3D Secure
3D Secure is provided by your bank, not Lampyris. It is an extra layer of security for online transactions, commonly known as “Verified by Visa” or “Mastercard SecureCode.”
After entering your payment card details on Lampyris, your bank will load another screen, usually as a popup window. Enter the requested information and click “submit” to authenticate the payment. Note that a password is not always requested, and 3D Secure implementations by banks may vary.
Troubleshooting:
– If you do not know your password or have not set up 3D Secure, follow the instructions on the popup. If you can’t see the instructions or have questions, contact your bank for assistance.
– You may need to contact your bank if you need to change how they verify your identity, such as switching from a password to a code sent by SMS.
– If the 3D Secure step or popup did not appear, set your browser or popup blocker to allow popups.
– If you are using Internet Explorer 10, try using a more modern internet browser.
Charges on Failed Payments
In some cases, your card may be charged and then immediately refunded if your transaction is blocked. This will show as two line items on your credit card statement – a debit followed by a credit.

If the event was not postponed and took place as scheduled, most countries’ laws do not require the event organiser to refund the tickets.
However, some organisers may have flexible policies or be willing to make exceptions. Please contact the event organiser directly. You can find their contact information at the footer of the ticket sales page.
